| Garth Knox Concert + Talk Garth Knox November 14, 8 PM. Studio 2 Garth Knox, one of the world’s few acknowledged viola virtuosi presents a concert of music written for that instrument and its Baroque relative, the viola d’amore. The program will range from Tobias Hume’s 1605 “Pavane” to one of Knox’s own compositions, and include the world premier of a new piece for viola d’amore and electronics by English composer James Dillon, commissioned by the French band Art Zoyd. The artist will give a talk before the performance.
